UNIRAJ scholarships are provided to meritorious and deserving students. Many departments of University of Rajasthan offer their own scholarships for academic excellence or research achievements. Further, need based scholarships are offered by the university to students with weak financial backgrounds. Provided below are some scholarships offered or accepted by UNIRAJ. 

Daya Krishna Scholarship

Students who secure first or second positions in the first or second semester exam are granted a Daya Krishna Scholarship by UNIRAJ. 

Shukadev Shastri Darshan Puruskar

Students who secure the first position in the third and fourth semester exams are eligible for this scholarship. 

ICSSR Scholarship

Students of Accounts and Business statistics can apply for scholarships by ICSSR. This scholarship is granted to students with academically excellent records. 

Research Scholarship

Research scholars of any subject can avail of research scholarships like JRF, SRF, Rajiv Gandhi and Departmental Scholarships for PhD research work. The starting stipend for JRF and SRF is Rs 25,000 which varies based on the subject opted for by the student. 

ONGC Scholarship

The Department of Geology has been recognised by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). The Department of Geology has collaborated with ONGC for an industry-academia interface. The ONGC provides Rs 5,000 scholarship for one year to the student who obtains the highest marks in M.Sc. first-year examinations.

CWUR ranks UNIRAJ at 1817th rank out of 2000 international institutes for the overall category in 2022.

The WEEK ranks University of Rajasthan at 28th rank out of 76 in India for the overall category in 2020.

University of Rajasthan has 13th rank at the national level as per IIRF. UNIRAJ is listed in the top 150 of the NRF 2018 university rankings, using the DST evaluation based on the h-index. 

UNIRAJ UG courses include programmes from the fields of engineering, management, computer applications, commerce, law, science, humanities and more. Some of the popular undergraduate programmes at University of Rajasthan include BBA, BCA, BCom, BA, BVA, BPA and BSc. Other than these programmes, the university also offers integrated programmes like BA LLB and BTech + MTech.

UNIRAJ UG fees range between Rs 18,000 to Rs 2,26,900 depending on the programme selected. The duration of UNIRAJ courses ranges between three to four years. However, the course duration for integrated programmes like BA LLB and BTech + MTech, the course duration is five years.  

The university provides 26+ undergraduate courses across several specialisations. Students must note that some programmes like BCom are offered at University Commerce College as well as University Maharaja College and University Maharani College. In such a case, UNIRAJ fees for the same programme become different depending on the college/department opted for by the student.

UNIRAJ PG programmes include 55+ courses from the stream of engineering, management, computer applications, commerce, law, science, humanities and more. Some of the popular PG programmes at University of Rajasthan are MBA, MHRM, MCA, MTech, MCom, LLM, MSc, MA and more. The course duration of postgraduate programmes at the university is two years. 

University of Rajasthan MBA course is among its top courses. Students can either pursue an MBA or opt for an EMBA programme. UNIRAJ MBA fees is Rs 2,48,900 while the EMBA fees is Rs 1,46,400 for the entire course. Furthermore, the MBA and EMBA programme is taught through R. A. Poddar Institute of Management. 

UNIRAJ MA course is provided in six specialisations including, MA in English, MA in French, MA in Hindi, MA in Philosophy, MA in Sanskrit and MA in Urdu. All these specialisations are provided through separate departments of the university. The MA programme is a 2 year regular programme with a total fee range between Rs 8,800 to Rs 1,10,000 depending on the specialisation opted for by the student. 

UNIRAJ campus has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities to assist its students in their studies. UNIRAJ has sports amenities & a coaching facility, separate men's and women's hostels for postgraduate students and research scholars, an on-campus medical facility, a placement cell, and smart classrooms. There is a modern sports complex along with a swimming pool. The sports complex acts as a venue for various national swimming meets and inter-university/ national tournaments. 

Campus Life

UNIRAJ campus is spread across 300 acres of land. The campus is situated at Jawaharlal Nehru Marg which is the central area of Jaipur. The campus includes a big playground where sports facilities like football, hockey, and cricket are offered. The university has a big library with 4000 textbooks, 5000 reference books and a large number of print volumes of many Journals.With a seating capacity of 500 students at once, UNIRAJ library is one of a kind.

Sports Life

University of Rajasthan takes good care of students' physical health. The campus is well equipped with fitness centres and a swimming pool. The campus also has a nine-lane cinder athletics track for running. Further, two cricket and two football grounds are present along with one hockey ground. In addition to this, UNIRAJ campus also has three standard basketball courts and four volleyball courts. 

Hostel Life

Students can stay in comfortable dorms furnished by the University and its constituent colleges. Currently, UNIRAJ has 18 hostels, 13 of which are located on the Main Campus and the remaining ones in the Constituent Colleges. The main campus has seven boys' hostels and six girls hostels. 

Ever since its establishment, UNIRAJ has been among the top universities in India for its education.
